Affiliate marketing 101 Built for people who already picked an offer

Everyone explains what affiliate marketing is.Nobody shows youhow to run one campaign.

Knowing how commissions work and running an actual campaign are two different skills. The second one is a sequence of stages, and a sequence can be learned, followed and repeated.

What this site is for

The problem is rarely the offer.
It is the missing process around it.

Most beginners are not short on information. They are short on sequence. The training sits in one tab, the offer terms in another, and the campaign itself does not exist anywhere yet.

The campaign process

Seven stages, in order.

A working campaign is not one decision. It moves through stages, and each stage produces something the next stage needs. Skip one and the stage after it has nothing to work with.

1
Pick one offerAnd stop switching
2
Read the termsPayout, action, cookie
3
Write the angleBefore any content
4
Choose one channelNot four at once
5
Build the follow upOpt in, then sequence
6
Track what happenedClicks tied to sources
7
Scale or dropBy rule, not by mood

Most beginners live between stage one and stage two, then start over with a different offer. The stages after step three are where a campaign actually forms.

The workspace we use

Put the entire sequence in one place.

The Offer Profits AI Dashboard exists for one job. You set a single active offer, and the workspace walks that offer through the same twelve stages every time.

Recommended first step

Offer Profits AI Dashboard

Run one affiliate offer through the full campaign sequence, with the training and the prompts attached to the step you are actually on.

  • Twelve modules, from offer selection through scaling
  • Fourteen structured prompts for research, angles, traffic, funnels and email
  • An offer evaluation screen for payout, action type and terms
  • Outputs saved against the active campaign, not scattered in chat history

We may earn a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you.

Common questions

Affiliate marketing 101, answered plainly.

Is affiliate marketing legit, or is it a scam?

The model itself is legitimate and ordinary. A company pays a commission when a sale or a qualified action comes through your link, which is simply performance based referral. Most large retailers and software companies run programs like this.

What gives it a bad name is the marketing around it, not the model. Courses that promise fast money without work are the problem. The mechanics of a commission link are not.

Do I need a website to start?

Not to make a first commission. You can promote through a social channel, a video channel, or an email list you build elsewhere. Some programs do require a website or a content channel as part of their application, so check the terms of the specific offer.

You will want one eventually. A site is where the campaign lives when the channel changes, and it is the only asset in the stack you actually own.

How much does it cost to get started?

The unavoidable costs are small: a domain, hosting, and an email platform once you start collecting subscribers. Joining affiliate programs is free, and free traffic channels cost time rather than money.

The real cost is usually attention. Running one offer properly for a few months beats running four offers badly for a few weeks.

How long before a campaign shows results?

It depends on the channel, the offer, and how consistently you publish, so no honest answer can be a single number. Search traffic is slow to build and steady once it arrives. Social traffic can move faster and disappear faster.

We do not publish income figures or earnings estimates anywhere on this site, because results depend entirely on factors specific to you.

How is this different from a list of AI tools?

A tools roundup tells you what exists. This site is about the order you use things in. The stages of a campaign do not change much when the tools change, so the process is what we teach and the workspace is what we recommend running it in.

Your next move

Stop starting over.
Start a sequence.

You do not have to build the whole campaign tonight. The free One Offer Playbook lays out the seven stages in plain language, what each one produces, and how to tell when you are ready to move to the next.
